Gamers all around the world are experiencing a movement into an era of monetisation in video games across all platforms. Although this emergence, on surface level, looks like a method game publishers and developers can squeeze as much money out of there consumers, it varies dramatically on different circumstances. This blog series is going to identify different way microtransactions have creeped their way into video games by looking at them from different frames. These will be elements such as gaming platforms, nostalgia manipulation, sporting titles and popular mobile phenomenons.
